AlexYanev

Alex Yanev, a partner in EQE Consulting, specializes in risk management in the private and public sectors.  He is an expert in applying experience data to assess natural hazards risks and manage them efficiently. Recent projects include risk assessments of large power systems or industrial facilities, detailed strategic risk-reduction programs for biotech and medical manufacturing companies, commercial and large residential risk assessments, and post-loss damage investigations for the insurance and reinsurance industry.  Alex’s most recent earthquake investigations include the M8.8 Chile earthquake of 2010, the M7.2 Baja California earthquake of 2010, and the M6.3 Christchurch New Zealand earthquake of Feb 2011. He previously worked in the construction industry as a project manager for a variety of private and public clients. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2003.
